Act Against Bullying - The UK Kindness Movement

Act Against Bullying became a member of the World Kindness Movement in September 2005 under the name of the UK Kindness Movement.

Across the world there are countless individuals how are kind, courteous and brave in the face of adversity. Many require no recognition, or receive it. However, we need to remind those who are dispirited that this consideration for others does exist and that is one of the aims of the UK Kindness Movement.

We are essential a children’s anti-bullying organisation. As kindness is the antithesis of intimidation and cruelty. Any pro-social behaviour has the effective of reducing aggressive behaviour and helping victims.

World Kindness Movement
World Kindness Movement was formed at a conference in Tokyo in 1997 when founders of the Small Kindness Movement of Japan brought together like-minded individuals from around the world who had started kindness groups and projects in their own countries. AAB-The UK Kindness Movement and the World Kindness Movement are non-profit making organisations which have no political or religious affiliations.
